Winter in Utah

These last couple of days, we have visited the park twice and have enjoyed playing outside in the front yard.  Hooray for 60 degree weather in February!!!!  Here is a look at the last couple of months:

Thanks to MBASA (BYU's MBA Spouse Association), Faye and I were able to attend the ballet The Nutcracker at the beginning of December.

Christian is a hard sleeper!  Trying to make him the least comfortable as possible, this is how I brought him in after he had fallen asleep in the car.

  

Fun in the snow!

It's great to be 8!  Faye celebrated her 8th birthday and was baptized a couple of days later.  Grandma Phillips came to celebrate!

The three older kids and I went to BYU's production of Mary Poppins.  I took them to the last dress rehearsal (for economic reasons) on Wednesday, Jan. 25th.  (School night.)

The play lasted from 7:30-10:30!!!  We didn't get home until 11!!!!  

Fall 2016

Happy 6th Birthday, Carter!  He enjoyed a breakfast of skeleton pancakes, a nutella sandwich for lunch, and pizza and cupcakes for dinner with his friends.  We all had fun playing Pin the Tail on the Pikachu and not letting the balloons hit the ground.

Hogle Zoo Boo!  Edmund as Kylo Ren from Star Wars, Christian as himself, Carter as Ash from Pokemon, and Faye was a BYU fan for this outing and Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter for Halloween.

On August 1, 2016, with the help of many friends, we packed all of our belongings in a freight truck and loaded our mini van with ourselves and sleeping gear and made our trek to Utah.  We pulled away around 8pm and arrived in Orem the next day for dinner.  I know the picture above is blurry, but so was the drive!

My Mom and Rachel drove back to Utah with Faye and Edmund two weeks earlier than the rest of us.  Above and below are swimming pool shenanigans at the hotel.

(Christian is a sound sleeper.  Here he is on the hard kitchen floor after having fallen asleep in the car and carried in the house.  I wanted to make it the least comfortable as possible so he would wake up sooner!)
