Summer and Fall

We had a lovely summer in Utah with the Schiffman family.  After returning to Minnesota, Edmund and Faye took a theater class, time was spent at Van Cleve Park, Nicole came to visit for a weekend which included a trip to the Mall of America, and we stopped by the MN Landscape Arboretum where there were Lego creations on display in the gardens.  Labor Day was spent at the MN State Fair.  On the day after Labor Day, Edmund and Faye had their first day of public school.  Edmund is in third grade and Faye is in first.

While Nicole was visiting, we went to Lake Johanna.  Carter tripped while running on the playground and his bottom teeth cut through his chin.  We love the Children's Hospital!!!

It's Great to be 8!

Edmund was had a wonderful 8th birthday in May.  He was baptized the following month when Grandma and Grandpa Schiffman, Grandma Phillips, Uncle Nate, Jenna, Amber, Lukas, Isaac, and Esther could attend.  He played the special musical number, I Stand All Amazed, as part of the program.

Spring is beautiful!

This spring has been a beauty!!!  We have all enjoyed some outside time a lot earlier this year than in years past.  We even had some friends over for an outside dinner in the middle of March!  I remember trying for two years to host Edmund's birthday party outside at the beginning of May only having to move it inside because of the cold!  Here are some pics at the park while we were waiting for Edmund to finish his soccer class:

April has been a month of celebrations!  Christian's birthday, Easter and General Conference have been our highlights!
